Uploading Videos to Your Perspire.tv Channel

Learn how to upload workout videos to your Perspire.tv trainer channel including how to set your price, categories, and availability.

Uploading videos to your Perspire.tv channel is how you build your content library and start earning Coins. Here is a step by step guide to uploading your first video and getting it live on your channel.


How to Start an Upload

  1. Click the Create+ button in the top right corner of your Dashboard

  2. Select Upload video from the dropdown menu

  3. You will be taken to the Video Info page where you can fill in all the details for your video


Step 1: Upload Your Video File

In the Add Video section on the left side of the page click the Upload video area and select your video file from your device.

Accepted file formats: MP4, MOV, WebM, AVI
Maximum file size: 10 GB

Important: Keep the Perspire tab open and active while your video uploads. Closing or switching away from the tab can interrupt the upload process.


Step 2: Add a Cover Image

In the Add Cover Image section click to upload a thumbnail image for your video. A strong cover image is one of the most important factors in attracting users to click on your content.

Recommended size: 16:9 ratio
Accepted formats: JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC
Maximum file size: 10 MB

If you do not have a cover image ready you can browse and select from our Stock Images library by clicking the Stock Images button. You can always update your cover image after uploading.


Step 3: Add a Title and Description

In the About section on the right side of the page enter a Title and Description for your video.

  • Title: Make it clear, specific, and searchable. Include the workout type, body focus area, duration, and level where relevant

  • Description: Use the full 1000 characters available to describe the workout in detail. Include relevant keywords to help your video rank within Perspire and on search engines like Google


Step 4: Select a Fitness Level

Click the Fitness Level dropdown and select the difficulty level that best describes your workout:

  • Beginner

  • Intermediate

  • Advanced

  • All Levels


Step 5: Select Categories and Subcategories

In the Category section select up to 3 categories that best describe your video from the full list available including HIIT & Interval Training, Yoga, Core, Strength, Dance, Barre, Cardio Workouts, Boxing, Flexibility Mobility & Recovery, Sports, Pilates, Gymnastics, Cycling, Running, Tai Chi, Balance, Kickboxing, Low Impact, Mindfulness & Wellness, Plyometrics, Martial Arts, Pole Fitness, Pre & Postnatal, Bounce Fitness, Nutrition & Diet, and more.

After selecting a category a Subcategory section will appear below where you can add more specific subcategories that fall under the categories you selected. This helps users find your content more precisely.


Step 6: Select Equipment

In the Equipment section select all equipment that users will need for this workout. If no equipment is required select No Equipment Needed. Options include Dumbbell, Training bench, Treadmill, Yoga mat, Barbells, Stationary bike, Rowing machine, Ellipticals, Jump rope, Resistance bands, Stability ball, Blocks/Jump box, Kettlebell, Battle rope, Spin bike, Pole, Stair climber, Gym racks and rigs, Specialty machines, BOSU ball, Suspension trainer, Gliding discs, and more.


Step 7: Set Video Availability

Under Video Availability choose when your video goes live:

  • Publish now — your video will be published to your channel as soon as the upload is complete

  • Schedule for later — select a specific date and time for your video to become available on your channel


Step 8: Set Your Price

In the Price section enter your video price in Coins in the Price in Coins field. The price can be set from 0 to 999 Coins.

As you enter your price you will see a real time breakdown showing:

  • Amount of Coins — the price users will pay

  • Platform Fee — Perspire's 20% admin fee

  • Your Profit — the Coins you will earn per rental (80% of the price)

Setting your price to 0 makes your video free for all users with no Coins required.

Note: Users who rent your video will have 72 hour unlimited access from the time they unlock it.


Step 9: Upload Your Video

Once you have filled in all the details click the Upload Video button in the bottom right corner of the page to submit your video.

Your video will appear in your Video Library under the Uploaded tab with a Converting status while it is being processed. Once processing is complete it will be live on your channel according to your availability setting.


Tips for Great Videos

  • Upload full length follow along workouts of 20 to 60 minutes for the best user experience and higher earning potential

  • Use a strong eye catching cover image that clearly represents the workout

  • Write detailed titles and descriptions with relevant keywords to improve discoverability

  • Set accurate categories, subcategories, difficulty levels, and equipment so users know exactly what to expect
