How to Create a Collection and Add Videos to It

Learn how to create Collection folders on your Perspire.tv channel to organize your videos by theme or category for your audience.

Collections are folders you create on your trainer channel to organize your videos by theme, style, or focus area. They make it easier for users to find the content most relevant to them when browsing your channel. For example you might create Collections for Beginner Workouts, HIIT Sessions, or Morning Routines.

How to Create a New Collection

  1. Click Dashboard in the top navigation bar

  2. Click the Video Library tab

  3. Click the Collections sub-tab

  4. Click the Add collection button in the top right corner

  5. In the New Collection popup optionally upload a cover image (JPG, PNG, or HEIC, max 10 MB)

  6. Enter a Title for your Collection such as Morning Workouts or Upper Body

  7. Click Add Collection

Your new Collection folder will now appear on your channel page under the Collections section.

How to Add Videos to a Collection

You can add videos to a Collection in two ways:

Option 1: During the video upload process

When uploading a new video you will have the option to assign it to an existing Collection or create a new one during the upload flow.

Option 2: From an existing video

  1. Go to Dashboard > Video Library > Uploaded

  2. Find the video you want to add to a Collection

  3. Click the three dot menu on the video card

  4. Select Add to Collection

  5. Choose the Collection you want to add the video to

  6. Save your changes

Managing Your Collections

You can edit or delete a Collection at any time:

  1. Go to Dashboard > Video Library > Collections

  2. Click the three dot menu on the Collection card

  3. Select Edit to update the title or cover image, or Delete to remove the Collection

Note: Deleting a Collection does not delete the videos inside it. The videos will remain on your channel but will no longer be grouped under that Collection.

Where Do Collections Appear?

Your Collections are displayed on your public channel page in the Collections section. Users can browse your Collections to find videos organized by theme or category. Each Collection card shows the cover image, title, and the number of videos inside.
